The price per m³ is invoiced in 2 tiers: the basic rate and the convenience rate. The amount of water billed at the basic rate depends on household size and the number of housing units.
Each housing unit receives 30 m³, and each registered resident receives 30 m³ at the basic rate. Any consumption above this threshold is billed at the convenience rate.
- Example 1: a single resident
A single resident receives 60 m³ at the basic rate: 1 x 30 m³ for 1 housing unit and 1 x 30 m³ for 1 registered resident. Consumption in excess of 60 m³ is charged at the convenience rate.
- Example 2: a family with 4 registered residents
A family with 4 registered residents receives 150 m³ at the basic rate: 1 x 30 m³ for 1 housing unit and 4 x 30 m³ for 4 registered residents. Consumption in excess of 150 m³ is charged at the convenience rate.
