For water meters with a diameter greater than 20 mm, a capacity charge applies. This
charge covers the delivery of a specific flow rate, depending on the diameter of
the water meter. This also applies to water meters installed on fire pipes.

No capacity charge is applied in the following cases:

• for meters that supply water to multiple housing units
• for main water meters, where individual meters are also fitted downstream of this meter.
