Beware of scam emails asking you to submit your meter reading

Beware of scam emails currently doing the rounds asking you to submit your meter reading: these messages might appear to be from De Watergroep, but they are not genuine.

This email constitutes a case of 'phishing' (recognisable by the incorrect email address). You can recognise our emails by the sender: our email addresses always end with @farys.be.

Have you received such an email?

Forward any suspicious emails and text messages to [email protected], the Belgian Centre for Cybersecurity. In case of a suspicious text message, take a screenshot and send a copy by email.
