Billing cycle for private water
From 1 January 2026, the invoice for private water will be calculated differently: in addition to the municipal fees, the supra-municipal fees will also be charged. These supra-municipal fees replace the water pollution charge that was previously invoiced separately by the VMM (Flemish Environment Agency).
We charge the municipal and supra-municipal fees for the entire consumption year, i.e. from 1 January to 31 December.
