An intermediate bill is not an exact calculation but an estimate based on your consumption during the previous billing period. It amounts to approximately a quarter of your annual consumption. We take into account similar consumption patterns and the rates in force on the date of the bill.
During the first period that you use water at an address, we cannot yet rely on previous consumption data. In that case, we determine the intermediate amount based on average consumption per person or on the basis of your (business) activity: car wash, hospitality, launderette, office, etc.
